Business users and in particular, SMEs can now acquire their printing solutions in virtually the same way they would a mobile phone contract. The selection and sign up process is so simple it can be done online by the customer in just a few minutes.
The customer first selects the printer and then chooses a monthly page volume package. For simplicity we have already pre-selected four devices (a mono laser printer, a mono laser MFP, a colour laser printer and a colour laser MFP) and set out three page volume packages (low use, medium use and high use). This creates twelve deals and the customer can simply select the deal which is right for them.
In two clicks the customer can access and sign the one-page agreement. Once received by us we will set up the customer account and send them a link to authorise the direct debit and pay the initial fee.
This process can be completed in less than an hour because we do not have to conduct a credit check or wait for responses from third party finance organisations.
All devices go through a thorough pre-delivery inspections where all of the internal packaging is removed and the cartridges are tested. An asset tag is applied to each device and Lexmark CloudFleet or Email Alert software is installed enabling us to identify when the devices require service or when a new cartridge is needed.
Customers can opt to have the cartridges sent automatically or they can order them in through the Customer Area on the website.
Our solution has been designed to be easy to understand and sign up to. It has also been designed to be easy to sell and this has led to the introduction of a Dealer Partnership Programme which allows dealers and resellers to introduce customers to the solution and generate revenue for themselves.
