Neopost has helped health and social care charity Change, grow, live (CGL) save around £30,000 a year on postage.
CGL was spending £150,000 a year on postage through a need to reach out to lots of people as well as partner organisations and charities. A large proportion of this was generated by its 33 largest sites, as the entire mailing process was manual and disjointed.
Six of the locations were using franking machines, all sourced independently, while the rest used stamps. A large number of items also needed to be sent by special delivery, requiring staff to queue in the Post Office.
Neopost was able to help reduce postage costs and increase mail efficiency. By providing CGL with an innovative franking solution together with Neofunds for each site, the charity now has centralised access to and control over postal expenditure. The charity calculates that the solutions will save it as much as £30,000 a year, and the additional resources will be reinvested into helping those who benefit from CGL’s activities.
