Gamers Beat Cancer was founded by Steven Bracewell, who was diagnosed with a very rare form of leukaemia in 2019. Steven found his journey to be incredibly lonely and spent a lot of time in isolation. He always had a great passion for video games as they provide a release from everyday life; which he needed more than ever! It also meant that Steven could remain connected with online friends whilst receiving treatment in hospital.
This is why Gamers Beat Cancer was created! The not-for-profit provide cancer patients and their caregivers with gaming solution at home, in hospital or in hospices. The gaming community provides a distraction from the harsh reality cancer brings, and with your help we can help support this worthy cause.
