A handful of office furniture pieces were awarded a Design Guild Mark by The Furniture Makers’ Company this year.
Work-related winners include: the MultiDrawer by Bisley, a cabinet that comes in various sizes and colours and can be placed on desktops or shelves, under tables or even used as a trestle leg to create a desk; the Silta table by Allermuir Design, a high table for breakout spaces and adhoc meetings; Trinetic by Boss Design, a dynamic task chair that has no manual user adjustments and supports micro-movements; and the Japanese inspired Gifu Workstation designed by Sebastian Conran for Hide Sangyo.
Commenting on the MultiDrawer’s Design Guild Mark, Ralph Hearnshaw, commercial director at Bisley, said: “At Bisley we endeavour to manufacture the best storage in the business and so are hugely gratified for the MultiDrawer to have been awarded a Design Guild Mark. The timeless design, the excellent functionality and the top quality build have made this little cabinet a classic. Our Classic.”
